A fine new guided scenic tour featuring a relaxing drive through the attractive countryside, historic towns and pretty, picture postcard villages of northern Essex. From your coffee halt you’ll head north along the Cam Valley and over the “Essex Highlands” to the delightful Saffron Walden for a lunch halt (lunch not included) – presided over by its cathedral like parish church. During the afternoon you’ll see Dick Turpin’s birthplace, enjoy a photo halt in exquisite Finchingfield and halt for tea in the interesting former silk and textile town of Braintree.
